PRODUCTS Where are Amy Sacks frames made? Our frames are manufactured and hand finished in China by a small factory renowned for their quality and innovation. Amy Sacks frames are produced alongside famous designer brands that retail for three times as much.
Amy Sacks plastic frames are made of cellulose acetate, known in the optical industry for its unmatched beauty and durability. Metal frames are composed of Monel, which is lightweight, resilient and resistant to chipping. Our Masa bamboo frame features hand carved sustainable bamboo temples, stained to coordinate with the acetate frame fronts.

All of our lenses are the highest optical quality. Reading lenses (+0.50 sphere to +3.50 sphere) are made from CR-39 or Polycarbonate material and include anti-reflective and scratch resistant coatings. Single vision prescription lenses are made of CR-39 plastic or 1.67 High Index material and include anti-reflective and scratch resistant coatings. Sun lenses and reading sun lenses are made of CR-39 or polycarbonate material and include 100% UVA/UVB protection and scratch resistant coating. Reading sun lenses are full lens magnifications (not bifocal or progressive).
